The Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program™ facilitator training is designed for individuals who will be involved in a community-based program that is being led by at least one trained associate director. Facilitators are responsible for leading small group discussions following each night of the program video sessions. Both facilitators and associate directors are trained and certified to lead out in discussions, but not everyone leading a discussion needs to be an associate director. We require at least 1 facilitator for every 15 program participants in addition to an associate director (2 recommended).
Facilitators work with their small group to motivate participants to establish and maintain an exercise program, eliminate negative habits, develop healthy eating patterns, and assist the Associate Director with anything that may be needed. This training does not certify a person to offer a Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program™. While the online training course is the same, only associate directors receive the complete resources needed to offer a community-based program. The entire online training will take about 14 hours (12 hours of video training and lectures and no more than 2 hours online activities) and we encourage you to complete this course within 30 days from initial enrollment.
